Anastacia (born Anastacia Lyn Newkirk; September 17, 1968) in Chicago, Illinois, to a showbiz family and is an American singer songwriter. Anastacia has been highly successful in Europe, Asia, South Africa and South America, but has not had as much success in her native United States. @Christopher P it's a blessing in disguise. A lot of artists tend to drastically change their style after being becoming famous here in the U.S.

I’m from Russia and this song was a smash hit over here. And her music in general is very loved. Anastasia even had a duet with our singer Dima Bilan who’s the winner of Eurovision 2008. The song/video is called “Safety” (2010).
