Beady Eye
Beady Eye was an English rock band formed in 2009. The band consisted of vocalist Liam Gallagher and guitarists Gem Archer and Andy Bell, formerly of Oasis, rounded by drummer Chris Sharrock who substituted for Oasis during their last tour in 2008/2009, before Oasis broke up after chief songwriter and lead guitarist Noel Gallagher quit acrimoniously in August 2009. The remaining members gathered on and decided that they "will not quit making music together" and so they formed the band Beady Eye. Read Full BioBeady Eye was an English rock band formed in 2009. The Roller
Beady Eye Lyrics
You didn't know what to say
It all came at you today
Can't get out your own way
Well hold on, hold on, hold on.
I'm hiding out in the sun
I'm getting everyone done
Just me hating no one
Here I come, here I come, here I come
Just call me the roller
I'll squeeze and unfold ya
Call me the roller
I just go to show ya
So you been crawling through a maze
An alcohol lemon haze
I've been watching you for days
You've been outta sight alright, alright, alright
I'll take you somewhere you never knew you'd been
I'll give you something you never knew you'd feel
The only thing is, everything is really tonight, tonight, tonight
Just call me the roller
I'll squeeze and unfold ya
Call me the roller
I just go to show ya
Just call me the roller
I'll come blow you over
Call me the roller
I'm pleased that I know ya
I'll take you somewhere you never knew you'd been
I'll give you something you never knew you'd feel
The only thing is everything is really tonight, tonight, tonight
Just call me the roller
I'll squeeze and unfold ya
Call me the roller
I just go to show ya
The roller

Liam and Noel both have great solo tracks but they can't ever be as huge as they were in Oasis without being together, but I understand that'll probably never happen again.

You probably won't believe, Jake, but 5 years from now Liam will be playing Knebworth as a solo act. Two nights!

This actually isn't a bad song at all

i KNOW! Late response to your comment - but for some reason i felt like giving this a spin - not heard it in years, and really it stands up well. Really solid tune! OASIS was GOD. I liked Beady Eye and I like both NG and LG solo material. Its funny, all the other band mates from O and BE have worked with both solo acts, it seems as though everyone got on with each other in various lineups - except Liam and Noel. There is no way Oasis will ever get back, but really its fine. Theyve left us with such amazing music - you can always just go back and listen...
