Betagarri consists of eight musicans who are Iñaki Ortiz de Villalba (voice), Aitor Ruiz de Arbulo (guitar) and Pablo Rodríguez (bass) who are the only remaining founder members from 1992 and Iker Uriarte (drumset), Aitor Agirre (guitar), David Gaviña (sax), Mikel Sanz (trombone) and Unai Lobo (trumpet) what is the bandmanning since 2003.

The lyrics of "La Chica Del Batzoki" by Betagarri describe the encounter of the singer with a girl in front of a batzoki, a type of Basque cultural center. The singer sets the scene by stating that he was drinking beer when he saw her coming out of church, and that the hymn of the Athletic Club (a football team) caught his attention. He is then attracted to her well-rounded legs and gets aroused by her appearance.
The song goes on to describe their sexual encounter inside a restroom, where the girl initiates the act by winking at him. The singer is at first unsure of what to do, but the passion between the two burns hot and consumes him for an hour.
