23 seconds, all things we love will die
23 magic, if you can change your life

Your tainted heart, my tainted love, repent now
How many times ?
As long as you live, how many times ?
The world will go around

He was a friend of mine, he was a son of god ... he was a son of a gun

23 seconds, in you I see a chance
23 magic, if you change the name of love

Your crazy heart, my crazy love, repent now
How many times ? As long as you wish
How many times ? The world will go around
How many times ? As long as you want
How many times ? The world will go around

He was a friend of mine, he was a son of a gun ... he was a son of god

This song is so good, sounds very nostalgic and beautiful. I don't understand why it doesn't have more views

Terminal Bungus

It has 2.4 million views; not bad for a song that predates YouTube's rise to popularity.

Lush, My Bloody Valentine, Cocteau Twins, Slowdive, Curve, Mazzy Star, Asobi Seksu, Pale Saints, His Name is Alive, Sonic Youth, The Jesus and Mary Chain, Ride, Chapterhouse and basically any band that fit in with the shoegazing sound in the 90s.

Justin Simmons

@Z Z Melodys echo chamber is a relatively new project, she wasn't involved in the scene in the 90's.

Melody's echo chamber too

Saint Martins

Search youtube for a hidden shoegazing gem. A Canadian band called Rose Chronicles from Vancouver. During the 90's they released only 3 albums.
1. Dead & Gone To Heaven (1993) ep
2. Shiver (1994) lp
3. Happily Ever After (1996) lp

Man...this song is just about perfect. As a songwriter myself, it kinda kills me that I didn't write's just one of those super rare songs that come around every now and then that are just transcendent and timeless. I love the mix of the steady EDM-ish break-beat along with the shoe-gaze guitars. And the chord progressions throughout this song....gah, they're just gorgeous. It's such a simple chord progression, but through the incredibly tasteful and intelligent use of inverted chords and descending chromatic bass-lines...those otherwise simple chord progressions sound undeniably rich and complex. Ok...enough ranting about how much I love this song; I could easily go on for hours about how perfect this one song is...but it's better to just smoke a bowl, let the sound wash out of the speakers, and bliss-out....   :)
