Into Black
Blouse Lyrics

You're like a picture
You're never gonna be the same thing again
But it's a strike of lightening
Everytime you look
Everytime you listen
What do the gods know
They'll never see the stars look as small as this
And you're a strike of lightening
Making up a sky for the gods to kiss with

Ahahahahah
I want to watch it fade into
I want to watch it fade into black

What of the missile
It doesn't even own its own way to go
That's not the way they made you
The colors of your eyes are like a stained glass window
And when your tears fall
You never really see them when they hit the ground
But when they do they rise back
Over to the gods raining on the god ground

Ahahahahah
I want to watch it fade into
I want to watch it fade into
Ahahahahah
I want to watch it fade into
I want to watch it fade into grey

[Verse 1]
You're like a picture
You're never gonna be the same thing again

[Chorus]
I want to watch it fade into

What of the missile
It doesn't even own its own way to go
That's not the way they made you

As a guitar player, I absolutely adore players who through minimalism cut straight to the emotional core of a song, and this is evident here. So well crafted, catchy and well produced. I love the verb and delay paired with the percussiveness of the compression, sounds so fantastic. An instant favorite song.
