Since 2013 De Herdt has risen through the ranks of liquid drum & bass to become a musical jack of all trades. Orbiting the electronic landscape with a refreshing swirl of musical creativity and profound love for the game, his determination for crafting a musical vision with a wide variaty of influences makes him an exceptional musician. He first introduced himself in 2013 as Station Earth with the release of Starcaller, which peaked on the Drum & Bass charts on Studio Brussels. Following the succes of the debut release, he returned with the follow-up Astral Walker in 2014, which paved the way for playing at Belgium’s biggest club venues and festivals. Continuing his succes, he produced singles like Cold Green Eyes, Mad World (Station Earth Remix), Age Of Reason / Myth Of Er and Summer Soulstice.
2017 marks the beginning of his new Drum & Bass alias Blue Marble and the label Marble Recordings. Matthias made his production debut with Shine and peaked at nr 1 in the trackitdown charts. Continuing his strive for diversity, he worked together with artists like Ayah Marar, Gennady Tkachenko-Papizh, Josh Roa, Harveys Maker, Axeela and Roos Denayer. Blue Marble released his debut album Pangea in 2020.
Mid 2020 saw the release of new side projects: Macoon, Night State, Aztiq, Riffdale, Dalmus, Altimore, and Lucian Soul, where he also explores different beats per minute and other corners of the musical landscape. In 2021 De Herdt released a RPG-inspired album under the alias Kingslow, and in 2023 he launched UNYUN.
