Congratulations
by Blue October feat. Imogen Heap

Is that seat taken
Congratulations
Would you like to take a walk with me

My mind it kind of goes fast
I try to slow it down for you
I think I'd love to take a drive
I want to give you something
I've been wanting to give to you for years
My heart

My heart, my pain won't cover up
You left me, hu hu hu hu
My heart won't take this cover up
You left me, hu hu hu hu

I came to see the light in my best friend
You seemed as happy as you'd ever been
My chance of being open was broken
And now you're Mrs. Him

My words they don't come out right
But I'll try to say I'm happy for you
I think I'm going to take that drive
I want to give you something
I've been wanting to give to you for years
My heart

My heart, my pain won't cover up
You left me, hu hu hu hu
My heart
My heart won't take this cover up
You left me, hu hu hu hu

And I can't change this
I can never take it back
But now I can't change your mind
(You left me)
And I can't this
I can never take this back
But now I can't change your mind
Can't change your mind
(You left me, hu hu hu hu)
Can't change you mind
(You left me, hu hu hu hu)
(You left me, hu hu hu hu)
(You left me, hu hu hu hu)

Go away
Make it go away
Please

This is becoming a serious addiction. I can't stop listening to Blue October.

Antonio Sandate

I've been a fan of Blue October for at least 10 years now. I've felt my pain and joy in so many of the songs. I think that their art is so very underappreciated by mainstream media. Thankfully they are still who they were when they started off. Real and from their heart. Be it broken and not very pretty or beautiful and full of love, that's where the music came from. For that I say thank you to Blue October. Your art/music has led me through some difficult times. Addiction, toxic relationships, and even being a dad that my daughter deserves, your music has been there. So much that I would sing , poorly, blue skies to my daughter when she was a baby. Now she's 14 and I still on occasion do. I guess you've even reached her. She told me a few days ago, as I was singing it to her in the kitchen, that's going to be our daddy daughter dance...at her wedding. So again thank you so much for being Blue October.

I dare you not to have goosebump at 1:54 ! "but I'll try to say I'm happy for you"

R M haha sure did! I was extra happy this song brings back the happiest of memories making me realised life is so beautiful yet so so fast so enjoy it all and love it all. Don’t be sad about these memories, laugh and love them no matter the pain they caused. Listening to music like this really shows us how much things has changed over time. what a crazy world we live in

This song is just brutal. I think I've got sand in my eyes.

youtube should have a replay limit warning "you've listened to this 20 times on repeat, are you sure you wish to continue wallowing in your tangled emotions?" yes.

Stephanie Fuse

Good song. I love both artists, though if I had to choose one, Imogen Heap has my heart.
