"It becomes apparent from her debut album Syrup & Rain that this woman has a great musical talent."
- Music Maker magazine
Channah will seduce and amaze you with her mix of uptempo popsongs, breathtaking live appearance and heartbreaking melodies. Songs in which Adele, Feist, KT Tunstall, Ane Brun and Laura Marling are never far away and stories with which the band (vocals/guitars/keys/cello/bass guitar/drums) is ready to give the world some goosebumps.
Between vinyl records of Leonard Cohen, Joni Mitchell and Neil Young, the story of Channah's musical career started, writing songs from an early age and eager to play with others.
Only 17 years old, Channah got invited to play at the grand 'Concertgebouw' in Amsterdam, together with the Dutch Wind Ensemble. Broadcasted live on television and radio, a born singer/songwriter entered the stage, wanting to be seen and heard.
She moved to Amsterdam soon after that, played with the Amsterdam Songwriters Guild and finished the Academy in Pop Music. Age 22, she released her first mini-album, 'No Way Back'. The title track was written together with famous Dutch singer Anouk, who was of great influence to her work. Five year later debut album 'Syrup & Rain' was born, produced by Huub Reijnders (Krezip, Giovanca a.o.) and got great reviews by Dutch press.
Channah played in the United States (New York), Austria, UK, Germany, India (New Delhi) and entered some renowned Dutch stages (Paradiso, DeSmet, Oosterpoort, Concertgebouw).
"Honest and disarming, it's almost impossible not be blown away by Channah's charm".
