Hey, hey, forever
Hey, hey, forever
It's you and me
Movin' at the speed of light into eternity, yeah
Tonight is the night
To join me in the middle of ecstasy
Feel the melody and the rhythm of the music around you, around you (ohh)
I'ma take you there, I'ma take you there (ayy)
So don't be scared, I'm right here, baby
We can go anywhere, go anywhere (yeah)
But first, it's your chance, take my hand, come with me
It's like I waited my whole life (oh)
For this one night (oh)
It's gon' be me, you and the dance floor
'Cause we only got one night (oh)
Double your pleasure (oh)
Double your fun
And dance forever, ever, ever (oh)
Forever, ever, ever
Forever, ever, ever
(Forever)
Forever, ever, ever
Forever, ever, ever
Forever, ever, ever (ayy)
Forever on the dance floor
Feels like we're on another level, oh
Feels like our love's intertwined
We can be two rebels
Breaking the rules, me and you, you and I
All you gotta do is watch me (watch me)
Look what I can do with my feet (my feet)
Baby, feel the beat inside (forever)
I'm driving, you can take the front seat (front seat)

Got me so undone
Gaze in your eyes, got me sayin'
"What a beautiful lady"
No if, ands or maybes
I'm releasin' my heart

"Forever" is a 2008 single by American pop artist Chris Brown. In this song, Brown sings to his partner, inviting her to join him on the dance floor to move at the speed of light into eternity. He asks her to let go and follow him, trust him to take her to a new level of love and experiences. The song starts with four counts and the lyrics "hey hey forever," which sets up the energy and excitement of the song, making it feel like a party is beginning. The song's narrative is full of joy, love, and excitement, quite different from Brown's prior controversial image.
Throughout the song, Brown emphasizes the importance of the present moment, urging his partner to forget about everything else they're in and enjoy just being together. He also reassures her that he's there for her, that they can go anywhere, and dance together forever on the dancefloor. By the end of the song, it's clear that Brown's sole focus is on his partner as they move beyond the physical dance floor and into a romantic realm of ecstasy.
"Forever" has become Chris Brown's most popular song, winning several awards and making it to the top of the charts worldwide. The music video for "Forever" featured Brown performing a synchronized dance routine with his backup dancers. The video's popularity led many to try to replicate the dance, prompting the public to record their versions and share them on social media.
