Dietz grew up in San Clemente, California. She started writing poetry in the sixth grade, which eventually morphed into songwriting. Her music is described as having progressive rock writing style with a twist all her own.
She has performed all over the United States and Europe.[1] The last four years she has become an accomplished guitar player. She also exhibits talent in harmonica, piano and organ.
She has released 3 albums in her career so far on her own developed label, "Wisefools". Dietz released her first album when she was 15 years old.[1] Her other two albums can be found on itunes: If I Still Love You (2007) and Let's Just Kiss (2008). Her album "If I Still Love You" has reached 2,000 in distribution.[1] Christina has written more than 65 songs in her 4 years of playing guitar and writing and has played with Jackson Browne,[1] her mentor since she started her professional career. Both of their paths cross as singers, songwriters, musicians and performers.
Hurley began to sponsor her as a Hurley girl in late summer of 2007.[2]
Dietz is planned to join a band of four called "Christina Dietz and the Band", in a few months.[1]
