When fate landed them in Atlanta, GA, they took it as a sign and combined talents to form Clap for Daylight. Attracting drummer Michael Tucker, keyboardist David Oliver and a chorus of local talent along the way, Clap for Daylight developed a wry, introspective take on indie rock on the way to releasing their debut album "Break Even" in 2009.
Produced by Brad Jones (Jump, Little Children, Josh Rouse), "Break Even" showcases CFD's diverse playlist of inspiration, from Led Zeppelin to Nickel Creek, and from Jeff Buckley to Radiohead. In the end, the album fuses melodic rock with other genres to generate an inventive and accessible indie-rock sound.
