MEDIA REVIEWS:
: "...Conics pushed things in a more indie popular rock direction. Vocalist Nick Vodicka has an effective voice, managing some fantastic highs on songs like the danceable 'He Said She Said' with its killer drums. On more new-wave inspired songs such as a very The National sounding 'Amy' the singer opted for a deeper sound....As a whole the young band were watertight in their delivery and with some competent dual-guitar achieved a powerful and atmospheric rock sound". - Tom Phillips, 'DRUM MEDIA'
"These guys are awesome...mixing the sounds of The Cure, The Killers and Depeche Mode". - Darren Walsh, 'OUR NEW EMPIRE' (Management, Bookings, Promotion, Events).
"A brilliant new Sydney band, fresh out of the starting blocks but have already been getting quite a reputation for themslevs. Claiming their own music influences to be The Killers, The Subways and The Cure...and you will hear that when listening to their track 'Something Anything." - Simon Forman - 'FLAVOURCAST'
