In Japan the record was released by EMI/Toshiba. The European release included the video "Faster Than Me", directed by Rainer Holmgren. In spring 2003 their second effort, "Stoned, Broke And Ready To Rumble", was released in Scandinavia by Kick Music. In the wake of these 2 releases were two big tours (Jan./Feb. 2002 and May/June 2003) with the V8Wankers through Germany and additionally to that you could check them out supporting Backyard Babies, Sator, Hellacopters and Mustasch and meet them on some Swedish festivals. Just a few weeks after the last tour they were offered a label-promotion-tour for March 2004, after ZYX Music licensed "Stoned, Broke And Ready To Rumble" for USA and Europe (excl. Scandinavia). Streetdate: March 2004. While touring they did a TV-appearance on NBC Giga. The tour was also documented on a DVD called "The punk´n´drunk tour" (ZYX Music). COSMIC BALLROOM participated on three compilations in 2004 together with bands like The Hives, Millencollin, Social Distortion, The Hellacopters and Turbonegro, just to name a few. "Your Drug of Choice" That´s the title of the new album from Sweden´s four-piece COSMIC BALLROOM. And soon the name becomes reality. 'cause after a little while you´re addicted to it and it can happen that it really does turn into "your drug of choice". 12 powerful tracks are the outcome of a close 3-week-combat session with friend and producer Anders "Theo" Theander in the RoastingHouse Studios in Malmö. Foot-stomping, shout-a-long and cranking up the volume to 11 is what will happen to you. With this album COSMIC BALLROOM is reviving the old tradition of their teenage idols KISS by having 3 lead-singers: Johnny Fjalar (guitar), Ziggy (guitar) and The Nilz (bass). They get supported by hammer-drummer Pound Rick. The result is a wide range of tunes from metallic to trashy. The first video "Celebration", directed by Martin Roos, is also to find on the CD.
