James, Jay, Dan and Craig are Delilahs Eye; a rock band with a progressive style that doesn’t subscribe to any one genre. Each member is a veteran from other Kent bands including Lost ‘n’ Seen, Strong, Like Bull and Sidearms 4 Midgets all known for many, many appearances at the Tunbridge Wells Forum.
The current DE line up was formed in late 2008 when lead singer and guitarist James ‘Skinny’ Williams and drummer Craig Ayres called upon friend and former Midgets frontman Jay Christie to play second guitar and provide backing vocals to their already established band. They soon drafted in Dan Delaforce of Kent ska band Strong, Like Bull and also a former member of The Midgets on bass.
Having written many songs prior to this line up, James Williams felt the band needed to change to fulfil the vision of his music, bringing new life to his songs. The addition of another guitar lent a more dynamic range to the music and another creative vision from the perspective of Jay Christie. The self assured and experienced bass and drums from Dan Delaforce and Craig Ayres respectively keep the high flying guitar riffs grounded.
Delilahs Eye are constantly busy doing what they love and that is making and sharing their music with fans.
