DieMonsterDie hail from the land of Zion, the land of Mormons, Elizabeth Smart, the Osmonds, Larry King's wife, and Ted Bundy's execution. The grand Salt Lake City..DMD began the downward spiral, into misery, murder and grotesque in 1995 as Casa Diablo which released the first and only album, The Continuing Mission To Destroy Rock N roll. Shortly after the release the band took a small hiatus, and upon its return came, the name DieMonsterDie along with the name came a whole new outlook physically, mentally and emotionally, no longer man.....monster. and so it goes on today.
DieMonsterDie have toured the western United States on a couple of occasions, and have plans to tour in the very near future. It has been far too long, and the monsters are hungry to meet all the fresh victims and the Zealots Of The Bloody Circle (DMD fan club) worldwide. DMD hope to soon cover the entire US, as well as Europe, and Satan willing.... our other home Japan.
..so lovingly across the stitches in your chest..
DieMonsterDie have released 5 studio albums, 6 including the original Casa Diablo recordings. Currently DMD are in the studio recording the latest material, and very happy with the outcome thus far. DieMonsterDie draws influence from many many things, from Horror Movies, Music, Games, Literature, and just about anything they deem acceptable. Fans of DieMonsterDie generally find it hard to categorize the genre of music we play, it is..shock rock, horror punk, metal, punk,...it is simple, it is all of them..(list of influences below)
DieMonsterDie have been lucky enough to share the stage with many friends, family, and/or amazing bands. This list includes: Type O Negative, Gwar, Celtic Frost, 45 Grave, Misfits, The Independents, Graves, Michael Graves, Dr Chud's X Ward, Koffin Kats, Hellbound Saints, The Red Chord, Genitorturers, Morttis, Calabrese, Zombeast, Dead By Day, Left For Dead, Spooky Deville, The Devil Bats, Impaler, The Groove Ghoulies, Shadow Reichenstein, Royal Dead, Maris The Great, Doom Tree, Death Becomes You, and many other bands... who have not been forgotten...kinda.
DieMonsterDie have been influenced by many people, and a lot of music here is just a taste of the musical influence. Hellhammer, The Absence, GG Allin, Kiss, Type O Negative, Black Sabbath, 45 Grave, Alice Cooper, Elvis, Misfits, Mad Sin, Nekromantix, Dir En Grey, The Crimson Ghosts, Balzac, Morrissey, The Clash, Ramones,Slayer and many more...
..she's a live girl wearing your dead face..
