Runaround Sue
Dion Lyrics

Here's my story, it's sad but true
It's about a girl that I once knew
She took my love then ran around
With every single guy in town

Yeah, I should have known it from the very start
This girl will leave me with a broken heart
Now listen people what I'm telling you
A keep away from a Runaround Sue yeah

I might miss her lips and the smile on her face
The touch of her hair and this girl's warm embrace
So if you don't want to cry like I do
A keep away from a Runaround Sue

Ah, she likes to travel around
She'll love you and she'll put you down
Now people let me put you wise
Sue goes out with other guys
Here's the moral and the story from the guy who knows
I fell in love and my love still grows
Ask any fool that she ever knew, they'll say
Keep away from a Runaround Sue

Yeah, keep away from this girl
I know, know what she'll do
Keep away from Sue

She likes to travel around, yeah
She'll love you and she'll put you down
Now people let me put you wise
She goes out with other guys

Here's the moral and the story from the guy who knows
I fell in love and my love still grows
Ask any fool that she ever knew, they'll say
Keep away from a Runaround Sue, yeah

Stay away from that girl
Don't you know what she'll do now

@Russell Crawley At least you gave an explanation as to why you don’t like it. That’s great and I understand why you don’t like it. However, I think you completely missed the point of what I said. You can HAVE an opinion. What it’s not best to have is ENTITLEMENT in your opinion. ENTITLEMENT. Because then, you might offend people who have a different opinion then you without any reason or explanation, and it can cause debate and scorn towards someone’s opinion. And when you show too much entitlement to an opinion, it can show arrogance in your tone, which others can come off as seeing you as a dick.Obviously there might be people who will agree with you, but it’s best to not let your music taste insult others music tastes. Adding the words “in my opinion” can really change a sentence’s tone. That’s why I was calling you out for being entitled, and explaining my reasons why I disagreed. And instead what you did was: 1) you completely disregarded my explanation and accused me for making detailed arguments, 2) kept insulting modern singers by saying they are untalented for using Autotune (which I explained to you) and kept saying they’re just tools without regard for explaining why, and 3) calling me a dick when I was literally telling you not to be one.

What you said just now was something like this:

“I’m not a fan of modern music since it sounds the same and overly produced in my opinion, and while others might like it, I don’t. It’s just not my taste.”

What you said BEFORE a little like this (this is just an exaggeration):

“This music from Dion is the ONLY best music and anyone that doesn’t think so are an actual idiot and don’t know TRUE music since all they care to listen to are untalented autotuned uncultured mainstream singers that only are notable for pretty faces. Who listens to that shit?”

I know there’s sayings that say “we are entitled to our own opinions,” but that can a logical fallacy in itself as for the reasons I explained above. For now, let’s agree to disagree. I know you may not support my points, but consider what I am trying to say, and hopefully that can resolve our discontentment with each other, Crawley.
