He started spinning records with his older brother as a teen and began his professional DJ career under the name NudyRudy before switching to FeestDJRuud. After five years and 1,200 performances, Geurts retired the moniker in 2016. That December, he made his debut as DOLF with the single "Fuck It All Up," which featured JVZEL on vocals, and followed it in August 2017 with the Nighttime EP. His first release for Yellow Claw's Barong Family label, the EP included collaborations with DJ Soda, Juyen Sebulba, and Moksi.
