The band was formed late in 2007 and currently consists of Saidimu Kiereini (founding member) on rhythm guitar & vocals, Jillian Ndirangu on vocals, Migwa Nthigah on lead guitar, Ali Wamahiu on bass and Ronjey (the rocktopus) on drums.
The band originally started as an RnB/Neo soul group, but that only lasted about two months before they converted to rock. The original members were Saidmu Kiereini, Ombaye Getui, Kibet Soi and Kui.
Kibet left the band in 2008 to study in Australia to become a pilot and so did Kui because rock wasnt really her style of music. Thus, the band went on a hiatus till 2009 when they met Jillian, who just happened to be with them one day when they were jamming, and Morris Rasta(on drums).
This is around the time they started competing in the local battle of the bands and after making an impression on the scene they made it to the Showdown at the GoDown (the battle to end the battles for the year). Unfortunately, on the day their then current drummer, Morris, went MIA. Enter Josh Mwai. They met him in the audience and attempted to teach him the songs with about 20 minutes to show time. It was a long shot, but he held his own and was then recruited.
In 2010, bass guitarist, Ombaye, had to leave the band for personal reasons. That was when the band recruited Ali and Migwa. The new and highly explosive resulting sound made a huge impact on the scene. And gained them accolades such as "The only local band with international sound'.
Ronjey joined the band at the end of 2011, when Josh Mwai left to pursue his career as a lawyer and actor.
The band is currently working on its first EP, having released its first single Yelele, which was a chart topper within two weeks of airplay.
