Phil was an unapproachable type who used to bully a young Luke in the dinner queue at lunch times. Pete and Gary just used to mess about in the music department at every available opportunity, which is where the musical bond formed. Our paths all crossed some years later when we formed Ejectorseat and with the inclusion of Andrew, our brand new drummer, we are all now following the same path.
We describe our songs as โpop music that makes you want to dance with words that make you want to cry.โ Our influences include The Smiths, Manic Street Preachers, The Clash, Suede and any band capable of making meaningful pop songs. Unlike many of the bands that surround us, we make music from the heart and we want our songs to light up peopleโs lives for many years to come.
Our first two singles, โAttack! Attack! Attack!โ and โWhat Do They Careโ were huge hits on itunes and both singles received a large amount of press attention, as well as regular radio play from the likes of Steve Lamacq of BBC6 Music and Jonathan Ross of BBC Radio 2.
โPUNCHY POP-ROCK WITH AN URGENCY THAT IS UTTERLY ADDICTIVEโ - THE TIMES
โGIGANTICALLY INFECTIOUS ELECTROROCKโ -THE FLY
