Not only did they breathe the West Coast aesthetic, they were hell-bent on delivering decent tracks through tight-knit camaraderie, Elora Danan screamed a dedication that is true to independent music-making.
Elora Danan exploded onto the scene with their 2007 EP ‘We All Have Secrets’ and immediately began their national domination. The boys have been impressing crowds as part of the Boomtown Showdown tour and a support slot alongside The Getaway Plan as well as tours with the likes of Carpathian, Mindsnare, I Killed The Prom Queen, Unwritten Law, and, recently, City Escape and We Are The Emergency as part of their first national headline tour in 2009.
Elora Danan’s much anticpated debut ‘In The Room Up There’ is an 11-track album produced locally by Birds Of Tokyo guitarist / producer Adam Spark, and was released on March 6th through Boomtown Records.
Elora Danan create a thinker’s music, and their album is set to reinvent what people will consider the limits of melodic rock in Australia.
Elora Danan have recently broken up, and will be very muched missed by all who enjoy their unique blende of music.
RIP boys, May 2009.
Final Line-Up (2009):
George Green - Vocals
Isaac Kara - Guitar/Vocals
Ryan Smith - Guitar
Matthew Thomas - Bass
Jay Rendle O'Shea - Drums
Tim Marley - Guitar

Elora Danan Lyrics
A Place To Be Somebody My eyes would scream if they could speak. Four days and…
Check Your Smile Now i'll hang them from the wall. (scatter these pictures)…
Live Together, Die Alone Raised and nurtured by the worst example. You taught me not…
Who Are You? Stop Writing In My Diary!!! Ten faces left and i am counting down One by one…
