Mi Playa
Ely Guerra Lyrics

Mi luz
Mi playa
Te comparto mi dicha
Y mi pesar
Te doy las llaves
De mi casa y mi confianza
Te cocino y te llevo
A pasear
Te regalo la sal
De mis historias
Te comparto mi fuerza
Y mi debilidad
Te muestro el cielo
Al que también llamamos gloria
Te regalo mi voz
Mi libertad
Solamente hay algo
Que yo me quedaría
Es la imagen de un santo
Que me cuida
Noche y día
Te regalo mis fotos preferidas
Te comparto mi humana condición
Te llevo mas allá del limite y medida
Me convierto en tu amiga, la mejor
Te llevo mas allá del limite y medida
Me convierto en tu amiga, la
Solamente hay algo que yo me quedaría
Es la imagen de un santo
Que me cuida
Noche y día
Solamente hay algo que yo me quedaría
Es la imagen de un santo
Que me cuida
Noche y día
Pero en mi playa estará el sonido
Del mar para ti
Rompen las olas al mar
In Ely Guerra's song Mi Playa, the singer is offering their love and generosity to another person. The first verse begins with the singer gifting their "sun", their "light", and their "beach" to the listener, indicating that they want to share their happiness and a place of peace with them. The singer shares their highs and lows with the listener, giving them "the keys" to their home and their trust. They offer to cook for them and take them out, inviting them into their life as a friend might. The singer then shares their stories and their strength and weaknesses, symbolically offering the "salt" of their life to the listener.
In the second verse, the singer continues to share themselves with the listener. They show them the "sky" or the "heavens" that can also be called "glory", and offer their "voice" and "freedom" to them, implying that they want to give the other person the same sense of liberation and courage the singer feels. The verse concludes with the singer offering to take the listener "beyond the limit and measure" of what they perceive as possible, and by doing so become their best friend.
Throughout the song, the only thing the singer indicates they will hold onto is the "image of a saint" that watches over them day and night. The final lines mention that even though the singer is giving a lot of themselves to the listener, something they will always have is the sound of the ocean on their beach.
Overall, the song is a love letter of sorts, with the singer wanting to give their all to someone they care about. They offer their personal history, their strength and their vulnerability, and invite the listener to share in their joy and sense of peace.
