Formed out of the remains of their pervious bands Thirty-Six Drive and Rebel Fly, life long best friends Robert Rios and Erik Benton formed Faithless Saints in 2006 with the goal of doing what they love without compromise. Settling in Portland, Oregon, they eventually found guitarist, Drew Tran and drummer, Jake Mastrud. The Saints regularly play up and down the West Coast, from downtown clubs to their friends' basements, with a stylistic mixture of punk, ska, metal and folk rock. Their songs represent "the state of where we are today" says frontman Rios. With music as heartfelt and personal as it is critical and political. Rios’ introspective lyrics address a wide range of topics including politics, friendship, the environment , love, prejudice and riding bikes and whether you are questioning society's standards, Faithless Saints provide great music.
Faithless Saints' first EP “Sweet Sacrilege” was recorded in 2008 in Emeryville, CA, and was released on February 1st 2009 on Irican Productions.
