Owner of SURBEATS RECORDS and international travelling deejay has released stuff on labels such as MOLACACHO, AREA SUR, SOULMAN MUSIC, SUPERMUSIC, TOCO, STRANAMENTE MUSIC, MMG, DIABLITO RECORDS, MUSICTRACX, BWG, PILD RECORDS, HOUSEWORK FAMILY, BEATWORK, and BATUQUE REOCORDS.

Fernando Picon has become one of the most respected DJs in Uruguay as a result of several years of hard work in the music business. As a DJ, Fernando has played in the best cities like Miami, London, New York, Buenos Aires, Punta del Este, Rio, San Pablo, Santiago, Bogota, Medellin and is frequently touring countries such as Brasil, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Chile, Argentina and United States.

Resident of the best clubs in Montevideo and Punta del Este, for more than 20 years, because of his versatility and experience in the dancefloors. He has also become an important music producer and event organizer: Lotus Club, Rave Sudamericana Tour, Adrenalina (una noche de Paz), Punta Loop, Cherry Pop and The Session Cicles.

Internationally, Fernando has worked in important festival like Creamfields (Buenos Aires y Punta del Este), SAMC (Buenos Aires), East Festival (Punta del Este), Open Park (Montevideo), Proyecto BOX y Lima Fest (Peru) and shared booth with artists like: Steve Lawler, John Digweed, Mr. C, Hernan Cattaneo, Ferry Corstein, Angel Molina, Westbam, Danny Howells, Danny Rampling, Seb Fontaine, Nic Fanciulli, Nick Warren, Tania Vulcano, among others.

Being one of the producers behind the massive hit LIFE on MOLACACHO Records, Spain, with great support of Hernan Cattaneo in his Radio Show at Metrodance, the music of Fernando also have good feedback of artists like: DANNY RAMPLING, BILLIE RAY MARTIN, KENNETH THOMAS (Perfecto/Armada), SHANE KEHOE (Ministry of Sound/Housexy), SOUTHMEN, JODY WISTERNOFF (Way or West), AUDIO PIMPS (Ibiza Underground/London), CORBIN DOOLEY, DPEN, ARIEL CURTIS, among others.

As founder of Surbeats Records he is releasing works of different people all around the world as well as his own tracks. His Artists and Repertoire work for his label is starting to get the attention of some interesting people in the industry.

E Rhythm Project, complements his developments in the area, fuse electronic music with native rhythms like candombe, tango, samba, mambo, etc; and working with different style artists like ; CHOLE and BROWN of ABUELA COCA, APAGON of CONGO BONGO, Tr쭠EN CLAVE (Percussion), EDISON MOURIЏ (violin), TATITA MARQUEZ (percusion), ANDREA VIERA of LA DULCE, among others.
