Fired Up started after the demise of a handful of CT Hardcore bands (Forthr… Read Full Bio ↴Fired Up started after the demise of a handful of CT Hardcore bands (Forthright, Not a Chance, Your Mistake, Late Night Revenge), when Fred and Mike decided to do a band in the fast hardcore style of the early 80's. Dean was recruited on Vocals, and Chip was told to learn to play bass.
Recording a demo in 2005 with Will at Dead Air, we sparked the interest of doing a follow-up 7" with Sean and Youngblood Records. 2007 saw the release of "When the Lights Go Out" on Youngblood, followed by a US tour with Justice and a European tour with True Colors. After recruiting JR for bass duties before the European tour, while Chip was rocking with Tombstone Minds, we then added Jeff on bass for a few tours in Canada and on the East Coast.
The 2009 Release of "Doomed to Repeat" on Youngblood Records came out Oct 13. The 7 song 7" will be the last record that we will be releasing.
Mike has relocated to Oregon, Dean has had some new additions to his family, Jeff is off to New York, and Fred is being Fred (which is way cooler than it sounds), JR is now doing his solo act of James Maple, and Chip is lost in queens with a video camera.
