Oringinally branded as the Elliots, the band re-named as FortyFives with a more serious approach to their music.
Playing local independent shows, the band amassed a cult following in the Newbury music scene which was, at the time, rich with ska, punk and metal bands, FortyFives cut a new path with their indie vibes, glam rock hair and tight jeans.
