After short trips abroad, she got stuck in Hamburg and found a new home there. Since then she has been participating in the local avant-garde underground scene.
Every now and then she plays the organ in DJ Patex' band School of Zuversicht and she has brought several band projects into being. She has played concerts or dj'ed with: Jim Avignon, Namosh, Richard von der Schulenburg, Jan Gazzara, Felix Kubin, Angie Reed and lots more. She has contributed vocals to Gunter Adler's latest album (Gagarin Records) and has participated in numerous art projects and performances.
Frau Kraushaar`s heart beats for weird tunes and peculiar melodies with a lot of pomp. In that vein, she has released some experimental Finnish music. Her favourite partner in music is the unbelievable Nova Huta Günter Reznicek - although they incessantly fight like mad, she always returns, in order to escape into the eternal cosmos of never-ending melodies.
As a brat at the age of 14 she primarily performed on stage and sang in the punk band "Die schönen Menschen". At 15 she left home, moved into a tiny flat and took singing lessons. From them on followed new wave, girlpop and krautrock projects and a series of part-time jobs to fill the fridge.
At the time of writing, Frau Kraushaar is studying at the HFBK University of Fine Arts in Hamburg, Germany, working with texts by Deleuze, Heidegger and concepts by for example Martha Graham and more... She has played in Greece, New York City, Russia, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Belgium... mostly in clubs or at festivals.
Although fine art plays an important part in her life, she likes alternating between music and fine art.
Frau Kraushaar shows short and experimental films at a wide variety of different places all over the world.
This is added to by radio dramas, settled on the borderline between fine art and music. She is a multitasking and multimedia artist with frizzy hair and a wired/weird mind.
