Pretty Baby
Gino & Gina Lyrics

It's been a long time (pretty, pretty baby)
I'm cryin' (pretty, pretty baby)
For your love I keep tryin' (pretty, pretty baby)
It's been a long time (doo-wah, doo-wah)

It's been a long time (pretty, pretty baby)
We have parted (pretty, pretty baby)
I'm so brokenhearted (pretty, pretty baby)
It's been a long time (doo-wah, doo-wah)

From the day of our breakup
I've been hopin' that we'll make up
Your love for me I'm tryin' to shake up
Pretty, pretty baby please take my hand

It's been a long time (pretty, pretty baby)
No use denying (pretty, pretty baby)
Your love I've been tryin' to get (pretty, pretty baby)
It's been a long time (doo-wah, doo wah)

Pretty baby

The other day marked the nine year anniversary of my Grandfather’s death. One of my prized possessions is a CD of oldies that he put together himself. This was one of the songs. You’ve always had great taste Papa. Love you and miss you always ❤️

Loved the song and would like to know more about this duo. It never came my way in '58 or I'd remember it.

A good floor filler song, good rock -n-roll beat and with its simple lyrics easy to sing along to as one dances away the evening...

I remember this being a favorite of Allan Freed and he used to play it often......great song in a great time....

Peter Emmert - the 1956 Grey Goose

The emergence of female singer accompaniment emerged about this time, with the most notables (i.e.: Mickey and Sylvia) and the least (The Crescendos with Janice Green) on the charts.
