In retrospect it's obvious that horror and country music go together like peas and carrots - it just took Graveyard Train to show us.
Utilising old timey instruments (banjos, dobros, washboard) with the unorthodox percussion of hammer & chain, all underneath a six part baritone 'wall of men' vocal delivery, Graveyard Train have created a unique sound and an equally unique way to deliver it. Over the past 3 years Graveyard Train have risen in popularity to become an an underground sensation in the Australian music scene. Selling out every Melbourne show for the past year, and touring solidly since day one, their legendary live shows have won over fans across Australia, from Melbourne, Sydney & Brisbane all the way to the Tamworth country music establishment – it seems like foot stomping, chain smashing, hell raising antics seems to be something everyone can relate to.

Graveyard Train - The Devils Drum
When the sky turns black and the clouds roll in
The thunder it echos across the hill
We would say our prayers and all hold hands
And tiptoe our way cross the graveyard
Shame the outcasts there all dead now ?????
Music and chants that will becon your soul
Hows you tell hows your heart ????
like your ent Holy Grail ????????
And pray its hold is not taking your soul
The song has begun
As we must dance to the devils drum
We the monster gray and dance a while
Between the whispers and secrets that fill you with lies
Child you are stray you are lost you are trecharous
You are dead to all those who love you
The song has begun
And we must dance to the devils drum
Yes we must dance to the devils drum
On and onnnnn on and onnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn

Billy was a wayward child
Never should have went into those woods alone
Run, run, Billy keep on running
Run, run, Billy keep on running
Whispering winds
Spoke softly to him
Run, run, Billy keep on running
Run, run, Billy keep on running
The fox and the hen
Said please Billy boy, Billy boy please beware
Run, run, Billy keep on running
Run, run, Billy keep on running
Broken and bleeding somewhere, and nowhere
Said please Billy boy, Billy boy please beware
Run, run, Billy keep on running
Run, run, Billy keep on running
Run, run, Billy keep on running
