Don't Pull Your Love
Hamilton Joe Frank & Reynolds Lyrics

Don't pull your love out on me, baby
If you do, then I think that maybe
I'll just lay me down, cry for a hundred years
Don't pull your love out on me, honey
Take my heart, my soul, my money
But don't leave me here drowning in my tears

You say you're gonna leave, gonna take that big white bird,
Gonna fly right out of here without a single word
But you know you'll break my heart when I watch you close that door
Cause I know I won't see you anymore

Don't pull your love out on me, baby
If you do, then I think that maybe
I'll just lay me down, cry for a hundred years
Don't pull your love out on me, honey
Take my heart, my soul, my money
But don't leave me here drowning in my tears

Haven't I been good to you, what about that brand new ring?
Doesn't that mean love to you, doesn't that mean anything?
If I threw away my pride and I got down on my knees,
Would you make me beg you "pretty please"?

Don't pull your love out on me, baby
If you do, then I think that maybe
I'll just lay me down, cry for a hundred years
Don't pull your love out on me, honey
Take my heart, my soul, my money
But don't leave me here drowning in my tears

There's so much I want to do
I've got love enough for two
And I'll never use it, girl, if I don't have you

My grandfather used to listen to this song every morning in the radio while taking me and my brother to daycare, he’s been gone now for almost 12 years and every time I hear this song I can’t stop thinking about him. He was the greatest man I know to this day, and I hope to be like him some day!!

What a beautiful memory! When I hear Bill Haley and the Comets I think of my grandfather. He had a greatest hits if theirs with Rock Around the Clock, Skinny Mini, When the Saints Come Marching in ,and other greats. I always think of him when I hear them. He died in 1998

How come we don't have music like this today? This music was euphonious, emotive, melodious, harmonious, socially conscious genius..

Steve's Model Railroad Build

Real horns, no digital. And it's hard to keep tempo with the lyrics. It's genius stuff.
