She was once a member of the former Gothic metal band Trail of Tears, and symphonic metal band Sahara Dust who later renamed to Epica.
Former singer in Sahara Dust (now named Epica) and previous vocalist of Trail of Tears, replaced by Cathrine Paulsen. She is the current singer of Dutch band Imperia and her newest project Angel.
Helena is a Norweigan soprano singer with an extensive vocal capability.
