Fortunately the story didn't end there...
Musician, composer, producer, instrumentalist, audio-engineering apprentice, Hernan has worked with multiple groups in various musical genres ranging from Jazz to Reggaeton, through Progressive, Salsa, Trova and New Age. His passion for composition drove him to take on piano, guitar, singing and orchestration lessons. He studied Music at the Universidad Autónoma de Querétaro, continuing his studies at the Taller de Musics in the city of Barcelona. Owner of an adventurous spirit, he realized that it was about time to expand his horizons. It was then that from Spain, he travelled to London, England, where he graduated in Composition for Film and TV from Westminster College, obtaining at the same time a Diploma in Jazz and Popular Music awarded by the prestigious Goldsmith's College.
Since then, he has devoted himself to travel the world and to write a multitude of songs and instrumental pieces. Some of them have been used in theater plays, short films, radio stations, commercial spots and TV news.
Back in Mexico, he joined the Pop-Rock band LEFT as singer and keyboardist. With them he recorded and produced the EP "Kick it", followed by the single "Marinero".
Chess enthusiast, passionate Soccer fan, red wine aficionado and poetry lover, currently lives in New York City, where he is working on his solo project and studies Audio Engineering at the Institute of Audio Research.
His bet is for a fresh and original blend with lyrics in English and Spanish, within the so called "Latin Alternative", incorporating elements from different Rock trends with both traditional and electronic incidental music.
