1. Het was a Dutch pop-art beat band from the 1960s, formed by Bob Bouber (also known for his stint with ZZ & De Maskers). Het reached the Dutch Top 10 in 1965 with their hit single, 'Ik heb geen zin om op te staan' ('I don't feel like getting up'), which became a legendary cult hit, being a very early example of 'Nederpop' (guitar pop with Dutch lyrics). Het still enjoys a bit of a cult status amongst fans of 'Nederbeat' (Dutch sixties beat), for their slightly odd Dutch lyrics, including 'Kejje nagaan' ('Mind you!') and 'Alleen op het kerkhof' ('Alone at the cemetery').
2. An avant-prog/experimental rock band originally formed by Dominique Weeks and Cass Davies of Furious Pig, later joined by Tim Hodgkinson of Henry Cow, and Belgian singer / performance artist Catherine Jauniaux. They recorded one critically acclaimed but largely ignored album entitled "Let's Het" in 1983 (reissued in 2006 by Ad Hoc records). Oft likened to Frank Zappa and The Residents (but with overtones somewhat comparable to Harry Partch), "Let's Het" has been growing in recognition in recent years for its innovative use of percussion, call-and-response vocal experimentation, and eclectic, challenging instrumentation.
3. A Norwegian band playing groovy, melodic "loopjazz". Band members are Helge W Flatland (keys), Erland Dahlen (drums), Tore Bråthen (trumpet) and Bent Gjersvik (sound)
