Long first began music composing as of 12th grade, with an idea of an one-man band called Church of Destiny. After 2 full-length albums: Secret of Desolation (2006) and Disapperance of Chaos (2007), he turned out to another totally different music genre - classically-oriented music.
He started with a small piece called Homeland now known as Quê nhà, the first track in the full-length album Quê nhà (Homeland - 2008). However, after composing Homeland, Long decided to make another album named The Aspect Inside. The album contains 13 tracks, with a general atmosphere of classical music. There are many musical instruments used in an orchestra such as Oboe, Clarinet, Flute, Piccolo, Tympany, Strings, French Horns ... Then, Homeland (2008) is released with 11 tracks and the duration is remarkably shorter than The Aspects Inside. The music now is mixed with some percussions, which makes the atmosphere more modern.
There are several famous tracks in these albums, for instance, Garden at Night or Stormy Finale in The Aspects Inside, and Quê nhà, Bức rèm sương or Nắng tắt in Homeland.
Along with composing, Long also sings. He is a baritone with a light-colored, pure and soft voice. He is not professionally educated. His best known song is Sorry I Love You (originally named Yuki No Hana, a Japanese song - then lyric rewritten in Vietnamese).
He has decided to stop the music composing due to lack of inspiration and business at school. He will continue to sing and record some more songs. Long's plan is to record Tàn phai and Câu trả lời.
