What they found was much more than that- they found a family. Together they created strong three part harmonies, singing along to lyrics straight from the heart. Adding in warm guitar tones and the eclectic sounds of instruments such as toy pianos, banjos, and a harmonica, Hollow Wood brings much more than music to the table; but emotion. Their raw, powerful sound is influenced by The Head and The Heart, Typhoon, Bon Iver, Mumford and Sons, and Noah and the Whale, but different in the respect that they have their own sound, dreams and vision of what music should be. In the processes of recording of their first self-titled EP and performing live, they have found surprising success in one and a half short years. Hollow Wood will give you so much more than a catchy tune, but a feeling of belonging and a warm sense of home.
