Cave In
I the Mighty Lyrics

It came down to a choice.
I heard it take shape in your voice
To let me know it wasn't you.
And again and again and again you
Stay sick. Get your fix.
Even if you couldn't see it
cuz you're shadow of yourself.
Is this it? Is this it? Is this it? This is sick.

Cave in.
Knowing that you're throwing it all away.
Cave in.
Losing everything you've ever wanted.
All the memories and no apology.
You can't take it back.
And that's a part of me, one that will never leave.
You can't take it back.

It came down to a fall.
I heard it take shape in your calls
There was always some excuse.
So again and again and again you'd
Stay sick. Get your fix.
Even if it takes you from your kids.
I still remember how it felt.
Take a hit, take a hit, take a hit, This is sick.

Cave in.
Knowing that you're throwing it all away.
Cave in.
Losing everything you've ever wanted.
All the memories and no apology.
You can't take it back.
And that's a part of me, one that will never leave.
You can't take it back.

Cave in.
Knowing that you're throwing it all away.
Cave in.
You can always blame it on your father.
All the memories and no apology.
You can't take it back.
And that's a part of me, one that will never leave.
You can't take it back.

You can't take it back.
You can't take it back.

Un-fucking-real. I randomly stumbled upon them on Spotify today, and I'm already obsessed after hearing this. I'm so grateful modern-day Post bands, firstly, still exist and that they make fucking magnetic stuff like this. Rock will never die!!!

Carbon Copies

i think maybe youd enjoy our music

Megan Davies

As per usual, I The Mighty are just casually singing the soundtrack to my life.

How is it possible for a band to write such diverse music? Every album has its own feel and borrows from so many different genres... LOTS of R&B notes in WTMWTG/WYLIG, heavier elements in Satori, more pop punk elements in Connector, The Dreamer is an opus unto itself... I’m stoked for more I The Mighty!

Hope to hear heavier sounds like the bridge on the new album. They've been pushing out great albums, but I need a song that's gonna punch me in the face like Lady of Death, Speak to me, and WTMWTG.

this aged well

KoaAbyss

agreed, as much as i love their post-hardcore days not very sure what direction they'll head after this but i'll definitely support it. They're all insanely talented masters of their respective instrument so I could see them unleashing in something wild in the future.

This one hit me hard in the feels though

Jason Loves Music Reacting

That's one of the few songs from Connector that I really dug.
