He's inspired by a range of artists including Bjork, Jazmine Sullivan, Mura Masa, and Miguel.
He honed his signature voice in his university’s gospel choir, and began learning production upon graduation. His first release in 2016, Symmetry, pulled the attention of a few publications, most notably Baeble Music who said, “we just found our next little secret…Kisos' voice is filled with soul and vulnerability” and compared his sound to Troye Sivan and Years & Years. Since then his music has been featured in Billboard, Atwood Magazine, and Spotify’s editorial playlists.
Aside from creating original music, Kisos is a popular livestreamer on Twitch and Next Music, where he has performed for digital audiences of up to 5000 people, and used his platform to raise thousands of dollars per year for social justice causes.
