He discovers the piano at the age of 5 then, later, takes some private lessons with friends.
After two high-school degrees with major in science obtained with mention, Krishna LEVY leaves at the age of 18 to the United States where he obtains one "Degree in Film Scoring" in Berklee College of Music then one "Master in composition" in New England Conservatory.
He returns several times in France where he begins to compose for Dante DESARTHE, Guillaume BREAU ("Le Fardeau", on 1988) and Jean-Luc LEON before settling down in Paris in 1990.
Although having worked for more than 20 movies, Krishna LEVY continues by taste to compose for numerous short films.
At the same time, he writes some contemporary music when his timetable allows it to him...
Krishna LEVY won the Prize "Mozart of the 7th art" on 2001 to the Auxerre's Festival for "Ali Zouala, Prince de la Rue" by Nabil AYOUCH. He was named to the Césars 2003 and won the Golden Star 2003 for "8 Femmes" by François OZON.
