Kristin Amarie
Kristin was born and brought up in Norway. She spent her late teens on the island of Cyprus and half of her adult life in New Delhi. In between she lived in London, Bangkok, Malta and France, studying and working.
Kristin would sing since she cannot remember when, always making up her own tunes. She took private vocal lessons from an early age, and studied piano and music theory with some of the best professors in Norway and Sweden.

Starting in 2012, she decided to start composing and got in touch with Grammy-nominated producer Alex Salzman. The two of them now have an ongoing project – Kristin’s first album is planned to be released in 2013.
Meanwhile her songs are featured on various compilation CDs. Her collaboration with Russian composer, Solarsoul earned them a place on the BeatPort Top100 Charts.
Kristin’s music is an eclectic mix of sounds and influences reflecting her world travels and the life experiences diverse cultures gave her.
