His influences include ambient noise, avant-guarde rock, and classic singer/songwriters but the overall result of his audio experiments can be difficult to categorize.
An interesting aspect of LFDebris’ music is his subtle use of local field recordings used as sound effects or background noise. Since 1999, he has managed to create a variety of music ranging from introspective ambient pieces to chaotic noise sequences. Using mainly keyboards, guitar pedals and software, the styles of LFDebris include noise, experimental, ebm, ambient, electo-pop, space rock, industrial, horror, spoken word, field recordings, sci-fi and psychedelic rock.
His most recent work in progress, ‘Moons! For Jupiter’ (2009) is a compilation of short psychedelic songs featuring original sci-fi sounds created exclusively with the Moog Voyager.
