1) Lament Configuration was started in 1998 as a rhythmic noise project but has grown into something more eclectic and over the years has been compared to everything from merzbow and winterkalte to vangelis and somatic responses. In 1999 LC appeared alongside aural blasphemy, radial, matrix, edgey, and others on a cassette compilation released by joe abresica called LIve wire, this was the first actual publication of a LC track (track: "whitetrash noise" - which sucked by the way). Joe later created the Frozen Empire Media label and LC appeared on their first compilation: Colliding Frequencies. Around this same time i became good friends with travis morgan (rec|use / travis morgan) and john of meson who are now inseperable heterosexual (presumably) life partners. travis decided to start his own rhythmic noise label in order to release his awesome music and NCC records was born. From 1999 to 2000 i recorded the full length album Paragon-Asia Dataflow and in the spring of 2001 recorded the ep Low Resolution Sweep. LRS was released by NCC in 2001 to great critical acclaim, Paragon-Asia Dataflow followed one year later to even higher praises. Since 2002 LC has had 2 more releases: Digging in the Alley (3 inch cd ep on the now defunct DTA Records) and Urinaglas (a split album with Ou Moins released on Between Existence) and has been honored and humbled to appear on numerous compilations with some of the greatest industrial projects of the past, present, and future.
