BIO
Everything began in the year 2000, when Eric and Kim played in a rock band called Hope In Vain. Eric played the drums and Kim played the guitar. After internal difficulties the band split.
Eric and Kim searched for other musicians to start a new band. That’s how 9° Centigrades was born. They met Tony and he would play the guitar. This band wouldn’t last long as well. After the split of 9° Centigrades, Eric decided to play the guitar. He played sporadic with Kim or Tony. In 2003, Eric, Kim and Tony decided to start a new band. For a year, they played without vocals. That would change when Kristof joined the band in 2004. Left Eye Perspective was born. Eric would play the guitar now and Tony the drums.
At this point the typical sound of L.E.P. was created, with own songs and own lyrics. The sound is influenced by the Post-Rock and Rock genre, with a lot of attention for dynamics. Also the typical riffs (theme’s) determine the sound of the band. The sound could be defined as ‘atmospheric rock’.
When the band decided to look for a new bass player at the end of 2006, they found Jelle, the missing piece of the puzzle.
We are working on new songs right now, we'll record them soon so check back later!
