The band was based out of Portland OR and recorded the album "Nude" in 1991 at London Bridge studios in Seattle WA just after Pearl Jam's "10" was recorded. Both Love On Ice and Pearl Jam's first records were produced by Rick Parashar. The song "Showdown" was put on the Bill and Ted's soundtrack and movie to help promote the band.
This information is fairly accurate from what I can recall...........I was the singer.
Love On Ice recorded a second record that was co-produced by Kelly Grey (Candlebox) after Love On Ice parted with Interscope. The second record was also recorded at London Bridge. Shortly after the second album was done being tracked the band broke up due to complex issues around exhaustion and bad habits.
There is a chance the second album will be released some time in the near future.
