Page, born in upstate NY, attended university in Nashville, TN and moved to Los Angeles in 2003. Her experience as a performer began as an electric violinist and keyboard player in various LA-based pop/rock bands, most notably the Australian rock band Porcelain (Universal Records). Page began writing songs in early 2005 after seeing the British alt. rock band Muse perform live at Coachella Music Festival. In 2007 she relocated to London, and spent the next 7 years touring, traveling the world, writing new music, & studying Spanish, French, & German. Much of the inspiration for her writing is derived from her travels. To date she has visited 25 countries.
Her first release, in 2006, was a collection of piano-based alternative songs called The Uglylights (demos), written & recorded in California, followed quickly by the EP Splinter, recorded in London in just 3 days. They were followed up in 2009 by Lunic's first fan-funded album Lovethief, written & recorded in upstate NY. In 2012, she released Future Sex Drama, a full-length written & recorded in Germany & New York City, originally described as “sultry, ethereal synthpop” by Lunic herself. She has also released a plethora of digital singles on iTunes over the years: Beautiful, Dichotomy, Oh No Yoko!, Magic Love-Hate Thing, Far Away (Radio Edit), The Dark House (Elliot Tribal Remix).
On Future Sex Drama, Lunic begins taking her first steps as a producer, bringing together the experimentation behind her early work and a cutting edge pop aesthetic. A blend of dark ethereal synthpop and electronic rock similar to Metric, The xx, Lights or Ladytron, Future Sex Drama is, "Glossy enough for the dance floor but retaining that sinister edge." -CMJ. Each album tackles a different set of influences and styles. This approach has allowed the project to remain flexible and evolving.

Him
Lunic Lyrics

with her stomach tied in knots
Again
She's got her suitcase in her hands
she says
She's tired
of waking up alone
in your arms
in your eyes
she's cold
You wake
She says
I can't say here anymore
You'll never let me in
You'll never let me know you
like him
And you wonder
Does he love her?
You wonder does he lover her like you love her?
As she leaves
You feel your knees are getting weak
She turns
You look straight into her eyes
The truth
It hurts
cause you're drenched inn contradiction
You won't her her wring you out
You won't let her win
She says
If this is as close as you'll ever get
Then you should let me leave
You should let me run to him
to him
And you wonder
Does he love her?
You wonder does he lover her like you love her?
You'll never know...
But you don't think so
And you wonder
Does he love her?
The lyrics to Lunic's song "Him" tell a story of a woman who is unhappy in her current romantic relationship and is contemplating leaving her partner for someone else. She feels lonely even when she is in her partner's arms, and is tired of waking up alone. She has come to the realization that her partner will never let her in or let her know him like she wants to. As she packs her bags, she reveals to her partner that she has feelings for another man, referred to simply as "him." She questions whether her partner loves her as deeply as "him" does, but he remains unsure. The song ends with her telling him that if he can't give her what she needs, he should let her go to "him."
The lyrics showcase the complexity of human relationships and the difficulties that can arise when one partner is no longer satisfied with the status quo. The woman in the song is depicted as someone who is struggling to make a difficult decision and is torn between two options. The man is left wondering about his own feelings and whether the love he has for his partner is strong enough to keep her from leaving. The song explores themes of love, jealousy, and emotional turmoil, all set to a hauntingly beautiful melody.
