He started performing at a young age, studying jazz, tap and ballet. After finishing high school, he moved to Ontario, where he continued his education in the Sheridan College Theatre Program. Mark studies were diverse and included music, theory, dance and acting.
After graduating from Sheridan, he performed in many professional theatres across Canada. Mark performed in two seasons at the Stratford Festival of Canada, where he received a Tyrone Guthrie award to further pursue a career as a recording artist.
Mark has been writing his own material for five years, and has the contemporary sound of Maroon 5, Gavin DeGraw, and Daniel Powter. Mark just finished working with producer Jeff Dawson (produced grammy nominated Daniel Powter's #1 Single "Bad Day"), with Niko Friesen on drums, Darren Parris on bass and Marc Wild on guitars. Mark continues to work on his writing and vocal craft on both piano and guitar.
In April of 2010, Mark released his debut album, Jukebox.
