Oh My God
Mark Ronson featuring Lily Allen Lyrics
Time on your side that will never end
The most beautiful thing you can ever spend
But you work in a shirt with your name tag on it
Drifting apart like a plate tectonic
It don't matter to me
'Cause all I wanted to be
Was a million miles from here
Somewhere more familiar
Too much time spent dragging the past up
I didn't see you not looking when I messed up
Settling down in your early twenties
Sucked more blood than a backstreet dentist
It don't matter to me
'Cause all I wanted to be
Is a million miles from here
Somewhere more familiar
And oh my God, I can't believe it
I've never been this far away from home
And oh my God, I can't believe it
I've never been this far away from home
And oh my God, I can't believe it
I've never been this far away from home
And oh my God, I can't believe it
I've never been this far away from home
Great rulers make for greater glory
The only thing growing is our history
Knock me down, I'll get right back up again
I'll come back stronger than a powered up Pac-Man
It don't matter to me
'Cause all I wanted to be
Was a million miles from here
Somewhere more familiar
And oh my God, I can't believe it
I've never been this far away from home
And oh my God, I can't believe it
I've never been this far away from home
And oh my God, I can't believe it
I've never been this far away from home
And oh my God, I can't believe it
I've never been this far away from home
And oh my God, I can't believe it
I've never been this far away from home
And oh my God, I can't believe it
I've never been this far away from home
And oh my God, I can't believe it
I've never been this far away from home
And oh my God, I can't believe it
I've never been this far away from

I find it a bit silly that people are getting upset at this because it was originally by Kaiser Chiefs and/or think it's an awful cover when they themselves appear in the video for a good portion of it, basically giving it their stamp of approval.
And yes, obviously the video draws inspiration from Who Framed Roger Rabbit, that's the exact point XD Once again, seems a bit silly people are complaining about that.

Especially when the whole Album ‘versions’ is quite obvious an album where Ronson makes versions of well known songs

@Ana Paula Carneiro And you probably don't know about cartoons from the 50's. What's your point?
Ana Paula Carneiro
This generation under 30 never saw Who Framed Roger Rabbit. That's a shame. I loved the idea and Lilly's voice fits perfectally on this music.
