The latter track would end up being linked to a contest hosted by VFILES, with the winner being awarded a professionally directed music video. Following the release of these singles, the group would release their debut mixtape, All-American Trash, on March 30, 2016. Champion would be featured on multiple songs throughout the album, such as his appearances on Palace and Home. After this mixtape, the group would release a documentary detailing the creative process behind the previous record, which was released on April 22, 2016; Matt Champion can be found in many appearances throughout this documentary.
Matt Champion would release his debut solo single, Die With Me, on June 22, 2014. After the release of this track, Champion would go on to release a handful of singles at a consistent pace leading up to the release of his debut album, Harley, on March 11, 2017.

Skin like coffee, colour with lil' creamer
Sin City since I been thinkin' all of these thoughts in my head, she'd probably shoot me dead
God-damn, she got the hoops on
Hair bunned up in two just like a nunchuck
Would I give a fuck? I needed to cheer myself up
But I fell in love right when she said
"I wanna count the freckles on your face"
"Rearrange 'em, put 'em in the same place"
I'm obsessed, I'm obsessed
I'm obsessed
Little fangs, oh, little fangs, oh
Little fangs, little fangs
Little fangs, little fangs, little fangs
Don't you take her fangs
Little fangs, little fangs
I'll never let go
Never take a bet, no
He's dancing on your lips, oh
Grab her by her titty, feels nice
We don't let go
Never take a bet, no
He's dancing on your lips, oh
Grab her by her titty, feels nice
We don't
Yeah, I picture you suckin' it on the sofa
Eyes rolled back, somethin' like a coma
Pick you up, ride around to my favorite albums
Hit me up, cut me off, who be next?
Break a text, freeze frame
Grab your head, freeze frame
Tell me how you feel, tell me how you feel
Never feel real, never feel real
How was I supposed to know
Ow-oh, that you only wanted me tonight?
Little fangs, oh, little fangs, oh
Little fangs, little fangs
Little fangs, little fangs, little fangs
Don't you take her fangs
Little fangs, little fangs
I'll never let go
Never take a bet, no
He's dancing on your lips, oh
Grab her by her titty, feels nice
We don't let go
Never take a bet, no
He's dancing on your lips, oh
Grab her by her titty, feels nice
We don't
Put yo hands up if ya ever been in love
I know I hate it, I hate it as much as you, oh, oh
Baby put your hands up if ya ever, if ya ever
If ya ever been in, in love
The song “Fangs” by Matt Champion is about an obsessive love that is toxic, yet irresistible. The singer meets a woman who is stunning and effortlessly cool, and he is smitten from the start. He describes her as having flawless coffee-colored skin, with little flecks of cream, and wearing large hoop earrings. Despite his initial attraction, he recognizes that she is dangerous and could easily “shoot him dead.” However, he is too enamored to resist her. She tells him that she wants to “count the freckles on his face” and “rearrange them,” and he becomes obsessed with her.
The chorus of the song is a repeated “little fangs,” which represents the danger and attraction of the woman. Fangs represent something poisonous or dangerous and enticing, just like the woman's charisma. The singer recognizes the danger of falling for her, but he can't help himself. He refers to the repeated “little fangs” as a warning to himself or perhaps to anyone else who might fall under her spell.
Throughout the song, the lyrics describe the singer's descent into obsession and the uncertainty about the woman's intentions. He describes their sexual encounters and how he can't resist her even though he knows she might not feel the same way. The song ends with the singer acknowledging that he is caught in the woman's web and can't escape his obsession.
