Like so many before them, Minerva Falls, formed from the break up of a number of different bands. Having talked vocalist Ross Martin into trying out some old ideas that he’d had “bottled up for years”, founding member, ‘AD’, then recruited Dan Terry on drums, Tom Fall on bass and Ben Robbins on guitar and Minerva Falls was born.
The band say that what followed was “better than expected” and Minerva Falls have since become a regular feature on the London live circuit. Blending traditional hard rock and metal with elements of grunge and goth, the London four-piece, evoke bands from the nineties like Metallica and Soundgarden, whilst at times bringing a more stripped, punk sound to the table which, on songs like ‘Eerie Indiana’, gives them a more contemporary edge.
