Mission South‘s guitarist Dan Miller, bassist John Beck, and drummer Max Ha… Read Full Bio ↴Mission South‘s guitarist Dan Miller, bassist John Beck, and drummer Max Harwood started playing music together as childhood friends, playing their first gig as teenagers. They kept the group together during college, and after graduating, finally became a full-time band in August 2012.
Since then, they’ve toured the East Coast and garnered a runner-up nod in Deli Magazine DC’s poll for Best Emerging Artist of 2012. They also recorded their debut EP, a powerful blues-rock affair titled Migration, Vol. 1. Fans can expect the follow-up, Migration, Vol. 2 this April while Vol. 3 is also in the works.
This up-and-coming power trio brings their unique mix of blues, rock, and soul to the music scene.
