Morgan Delt
Psychic Death Hole, the ultra-limited six-song cassette released in December 2012 introduced the world to Morgan Delt's self-produced, genre-bending flavor of brown acid-dosed flowerdelia. Equal parts 'Odyssey & Oracle' and ‘Parable of Arable Land’, Morgan Delt's self-titles début LP, Morgan Delt (January 2014), expands on those initial tracks and brings forth one a fully realized glimpse into the California native’s twisted brain.

Morgan cites influences from Curt Boettcher to West Coast Pop Art Experimental Band and rounds it out with golden age sunset stip heavies like The Byrds and Love. It's all in there: obsessively studied, mastered and then mutated. Morgan Delt's music worms its way into your brain and takes hold.
As Morgan so keenly described his notion on the current state of genre bending music, borrowing from Kurt Vonnegut's 'Slaughterhouse-Five': “I think we’ve become unstuck in time and everything is going to happen all at once from now on.”

Some Sunsick Day
Morgan Delt Lyrics
After the blast levels our town
We can relax and watch it come down
Maybe we'll find somewhere to stay
Some little cave where we can make it
We'll finally find what we need
After the ships leave us behind
We can forget the lives they assigned
Maybe we'll have more time to play
Running around totally naked
We'll finally find what we need
After we start over again
We'll start to feel safe in our skin
Maybe we'll be wrinkled and grey
Or maybe we'll get new plastic faces
We'll finally find what we need
Some sunsick day, sunsick day...

This is the only remedy I found today for my depression and anxiety. Feels like gaining back hope, happiness and a strange warmth inside you. Gaining back breath. The fog goes away. And the sun comes back.
Everything will be okay.

Everything is ok….and deep down we know this….it all comes together in the end after this hard worked thing called life. Its jsuch an amazing beautiful emotional tune. Reality✌🏽

I listen to a lot of psychedelic stuff, this is by far not the weirdest stuff I've heard but it's definetely in my top 10 of the most beautiful song to ever exist.

you got a good playlist?

Found this on the same day I hit seven months off alcohol. It's been my anthem all day long. Back in the waves and good music.
