Mushafear was formed in 1996 in Sukabumi, Indonesia with previously named Moonshine. Replacement name was based on the desire of the members to conceptualize a new face and a new spirit in presenting their music. The members are Mirantie Boreel (singer & guitar), Benny Aries (bass), and Armi Noviardi (drum). Mirantie writes the most of the songs.

Mushafear’s first single was released in 1998 by the No More Emphaty compilation. The name of the single was Meats In. Their second single was Cacat released in 2010 by the Total Feedback compilation volume 6, this one was more famous as the first one.

Mushafear plays Grunge music. Nowadays, the most famous song is Pretty Boy, Pretty Toy single, wrote and recorded in Bandung with other 12 tracks which unreleased yet.

CHRONOLOGY :

Mirantie Boreel was released a solo album For All The Sinners in 2004 under the No Record Label Surabaya. Distributed by No Record Label & Teriak Record. After the success in the scope of Metal & Underground, Mirantie played as a lead guitar and singer in a band Forever My Power, a D-Beat Hardcore Punk band from Sukabumi. But in the progress was unclear with the former members, Mirantie left the band and began to make a new project Selangkangan, a punk rock band from Sukabumi. Mirantie played as a lead guitar and singer. The band was play a set in Tribute To Sex Pistols in 2007. In the current years, Mirantie is join in Noise Harmony as a drummer.
